I'm not saying that he spun the song "Hide" and said, "I can rework this." If you noticed, most of my examples are from songs that were already publicly available. The fact that the song was written around October 2001 doesn't prove that Vedder never heard "Weathered" as there were plenty of promotional copies out there at that point. I just find it ironic that people accuse Scott Stapp of ripping off Eddie Vedder's style, his image, etc.. and here's a song that is so blatantly trying to emulate Stapp's overall style and at least APPEARS to be pulling a significant amount of imagery from Creed both lyrically and artistically. Sorry if you disagree. Actually, I'm really not. I couldn't care less what you think because it is, in fact, my opinion and I'm entitled to it (just as you are to yours).
